I bought this item for my 2008 Yamaha FJR 1300 because it was advertised for that motorcycle. These lights can be adapted for that application but are actually made for a car/truck instead. You can tell that from the wiring that comes with the kit. The length is much longer than what is needed for a motorcycle, so specific applications are actually not as advertised. They will work pretty well on motorcycles though. I mounted them low on the front axle of my Yamaha and they gave a good view of the roadway after dark as long as you did not overdrive them. Not hard to install, just make sure you get the relay for the motorcycle installation. Worth the money.
