I purchased it for my Honda Civic 2003. I programmed the remote fob and remote has no problem, before cutting the key. Then I took the key fob to several locksmith's and they said I had to pay about $150 for cutting&programming the key (must install a chip in it. in order to be able to use. I think it need to be done by HONDA dealerships anyways). They did not told me I have to pay more then the buying price for programming the key(not programming the remote, its just easy few steps do-it-yourself). If you are OK to pay about 200 in total, buy it, otherwise runaway. Anyway, it was a troublesome for me so I returned. They refund the money in full, except shipping fee.
