I purchased these because I just bought a ZTR Mower and the turf tires were spinning out on my back yard (I have a hill for a back yard). It was nearly impossible for me to cut my grass. Calling the mower company, they told me ZTR mowers are not for a grade exceeding 10 degrees. I like my ZTR too much to buy that story and purchased these tires. I don't recommend you do what I do but with these tires installed on my mower I can cut on a 70 degree small hill I have. Great traction. The only drawback on the ZTR is that if you turn to quickly you WILL TEAR up your yard. They do exactly what I wanted them to do.
