The meter itself seems OK, although I haven't had the time to use it enough to give it a thorough check-out.

But the manual is a total joke! I thought we were beyound the days of pigeon english manuals. There is a "reference table of illumination standard" that shows typical levels of illumination for various places. One could assume the values are given in ftc or lux but the table doesn't show units, just numbers.
