The spoiler was supposed to come ready to paint! However, sanding, filler and primer were required. The reason I gave three stars was because even after factoring in the additional cost for the sanding and filler, the Auto Tecknic will save you a few bucks. The total cost (including the spoiler) to have it sanded, filled, primed, professionally painted and mounted was $300. If it had been ready for painting, it would have really been a bargain - the bargain that I thought I was getting.
