first - the dimensions listed here of 10 x 10 are incorrect. The 5-channel(4.1) version is 10.5 x 18.
It's like putting a scanner in your trunk. I haven't hooked it up yet, (waiting for the speakers to come), but seeing the size when it came FedEx today was a surprise to me.

UPDATE - ok i've got all my stuff in the mail and installed it with this amp - wow - i am more than satisfied. in fact, i am afraid to turn this up all the way, because i am sure the window would fall out or my ears would break. this is quite a value. it does get warm, but i have it installed with a piece of aluminum next to it for a heat sink (actually it's an old stand that is supposed to be used to set a laptop on)
