I have ridden IRC tires for some time mountain biking and always found them to be the best bang for the buck. I will say the same for these as well and i am on a DR650 riding trails and mountain twistes of E TN.. Plenty of contact patch and quiet on the asphalt till you pitch over into turns. I would recomend to the wider profile on the rear, but the front and rear both drift about the same if really slinging around. I found them to do well on civilized trails as I have not gotten into any single track. They served well on hard clay as well as sand. Not special in mud, but clean out very.

Over all they are a proper 50/50. Quiet and fuel efficient on the hwy, acceptable on triails that are decently groomed and not slick.
