Most of the gaskets are very good quality and fit perfectly. The one exception, however, was the intake manifold gasket. The OEM gasket is much thinner than the one supplied in this kit. Consequently, I had to remove the studs in the intake manifold and use bolts with adequate thread depth to install the manifold without stripping threads. The original studs in the cylinder head are not long enough to allow the original nuts to fully thread onto the original studs; the nuts were only able to thread on about 1/2 way: The new intake gasket was much thicker (approximately 4 times thicker!).

I believe this was done to provide better heat isolation between the head and the manifold but I recommend that a note be placed in the kit advising that slight modifications will be necessary for a proper installation. It's a no-brainer for an experienced tech or mechanic but the home mechanic may have issues. Because of the extra work I had to do, I gave the kit 4 stars; if I was able to do this without any mods, I would have given the product 5 stars. This kit is still an excellent value when compared to the cost of Honda OEM parts.

I have used Victor Reinz in the past and I've found the quality and fit far superior to Fel-Pro and equivalent to OEM Honda.
