The NSSC 6000K HID Conversion Kit will produce a crystal white light output. With a luminosity of approximately 2900, it is much brighter than the light output of halogen bulbs. The 6000K bulbs might produce a very slight bluish hue depending on the optics of the headlights, however if you are looking for more color you should consider going with a Kelvin rating of 8000K or 10000K.

First off, let me start by mentioning that I was very hesitant initially about ordering this product. A friend had HID bulbs installed at the dealer and paid $50/per bulb plus whatever they charge for labor. I decided to take a leap of faith and I couldn't be happier about my choice. When the kit arrived, I immediately contacted the seller because I thought that I had ordered the wrong kit. The box had a picture of an automobile and I wanted to install it on my motorcycle. The seller contacted me right away and assured me that the kits were compatible between both cars and bikes. Installation was a breeze. The only regret is that I didn't ordered a kit with a slimmer ballast. Luckily, I have plenty of room on the inside of my fairings and the ballasts are secured and sealed. A little gorilla tape will do the trick. After installation, I compared it to my friend's HID's and let me tell you, he got ripped off!! He paid $100 just for the bulbs. When comparing side by side, his light still look yellow compared to mine. Upon some investigation, I found out that the service department had just installed bulbs and not a kit!! No ballasts for igniter to be found anywhere! No one wonder! His lights were not igniting properly! Needless to say, he will be taking his bike back to the dealer while I enjoy my new lights!! The only reason why I'm giving this product 4 stars is because I think they could have easily made the ballast smaller and slimmer, even if it was made for a car. Otherwise, great product at a great price. Can't beat it! Don't take your bike to the dealer. Do it yourself!!
