I bought this for my 2005 GMC Envoy XL 4x4. The old rotor had wore down, had a significant amount of rust, and at least one of them was warped, causing some vibrations when braking.

I decided to upgrade to the Power Slot rotors because I tow a camper and boat sometimes (but not at the same time!) and thought the slots can help with heat dissipation and removal of foreign substances. Honestly, I haven't had these long enough to give feedback on whether it does that better than the OEM rotors. However, these rotors appear to be higher quality than OEM. For example, the non-friction surfaces of the rotor are all covered by high temperature black paint, which should reduce the pervasive rust I found on the OEM rotors.

I'm satisfied thus far.

Update: Slots rusts after a few days. This is not inevitable - the SportStop slotted rotors I bought for another vehicle never rusted in the slots. Apparently there's some special coating in there.
