Bought the 6000k(the most color temp you'll need and anything above 8000k is ridiculous(unless it is strictly a show car and not driven at night), you lose lumens(light output) and it's stupid purplish color instead of whitish blue as the 6000k afford you....factory HIDs are around 4000-4500 and are the brightest but a bit yellowish...much better than standard halogens though) but originally inadvertently ordered 3000k thinking they could work as headlamp replacement(illegal unless used as fog lights) the company quickly changed my order and promptly shipped...couldn't be happier except i have seen cheaper but not with the same quality =) Recommended...professional installation recommended unless you are really experiences so as in order to make sure install is solid and is protected from elements and secure. Hope this review helps anyone considering HID.
