Some of this is metal and some is plastic. The big flat piece is metal and that is fine except I had to grind the corners slightly to get it to fit. The other pieces that go into the scoop part are "chrome" plastic pieces that stick on. It looks good now but I am concerned that it will come off or start to show wear. Being on the front of the car like that it gets bombarded with air, rain, bugs, etc. It would be better if it was one piece and made totally of metal. It does however look very good so for right now I am happy with it.
