THE AM-PC SERIES is compatible with PH-1. Fits several aftermarket mounts as well. May be used as drops and risers. Shanks are 2"x 2" tube with 1/4" wall thickness. Hitch pin hole receives standard hitch pins (not included). Use 4 grade 5 1/2" bolts. Be sure they are long enough for mounting purposes. Maximum trailer weight of 10,000Ibs. Maximum tongue weight of 2,000Ibs. Rated Class 4. Rated V-5. Meets SAE Standard J-684. For use with open-end receivers. Short AM-PCs are available on request. Be sure the hitch bar receiver tube is more than 2-3/8" deep if the tube has a closed end. U.S. Patent #5,380,030.

The Convert-A-Ball cushioned hitch is the perfect solution for towing without the bumps and groans and clunks that are common with most hitches during starting and stopping. I bought this together with the Convert-A-Ball PH1 hitch system and it has been a match made in heaven. No noise whatsoever when starting and stopping.

The only drawback I can see with this system is that the hitch mounts to this mount via 4-bolts, plate-to-plate. This is fine for normal use, and is plenty robust, but if you have trailers with different tongue heights and need to adjust the height of the ball, its a bit of extra work vs. other adjustable height designs.

Other than that, the mount and hitch system together are solid, reliable, and of good quality. The cushioned mount design is great for eliminating noise, and I'm really happy with the system overall. Highly recommended.
