Upgrade your headlights and improve your night vision on the road with Kensun HID (High Intensitiy Discharge) Xenon headlights. Emitting a light that is 3 times brighter than ordinary halogen bulbs, HID lights greatly assist the driver in providing a clearer and expanded view of what is ahead. Subsequently, HID kits contribute to driver confidence, making for a more relaxed and safe drive. HID lights have a glass chamber of gas that replaces the filament of traditional halogen light bulbs. The gas is ignited with an approximately 23,000 volt charge and stays illuminated by a constant 12v source that is provided by a ballast which is connected directly to your battery. I had always wanted to try one of these conversion setups because I hated driving at night with those darn HID lights coming towards me. This set of lights installed plug and play as advertised. I took me longer to find a location for the Ballast to mount than it did to change the bulbs. Man are these bright. One can see much farther and much wider, I love being able to see wider especially with all the deer running here at night. On my car the low beams stay on when you turn on the high beams, so i installed these lights into my low beams and because they are so much brighter that when I turned my highs on you couldn't tell the difference.
So yes these Kensun lights are fantastic, so I also got them for my wife's car and my son wants them now for his truck.
