I received my alternator in about 4 days, and was as described. Installation in my 2001 Camaro Z28 was pretty straight forward, and easier than it looks. Your gonna be a little sore the next day if you dont have a lift, from being underneath the car and trying to get to the bolts and loosening them and things like that. But other than that, the hardest part was removing the old alternator, kind of a tight spot, but with the right angle, you will be able to remove it. Alternator makes a slight whistle sound but its been about a week and so far so good, no more light flickering.
