I purchased this item for my 2007 Passat. I've used their products before and have been content with the fit and function. This time there were fit problems. First the cut out for the hood latch was 3 inches off. This would normally have generated a return but I didn't want to wait another two weeks so I took out my trusty Emerson CQC Emerson Knives 222 Black T-Coated Finish Mini CQC7 Wave Knife with Black G-10 Composite Handles and cut a new hole. Probably voided my warranty but what the heck, I'll take the hit. Next were the straps that secure the lower grill cover to the bottom of the front end. They were either way too long or way too short. There was nothing down there they could possibly connect to. Super Sticky Velcro Genuine Velcro 3814-SAT-PSA/L-5 Super-Adhesive Nylon Loop with Rubber-Based Adhesive Backing, 5' Length x 1" Width, White fixed that problem. The cutout around the head lights is not correct and the tie downs don't connect correctly. I'm just going to live with it.
